Jack Russell Spiteful Pooping?

tinkerbell4284 asked:

I have a 2 year old female Jack Russell. She is potty trained to go outside and to let me know when she needs to go outside. When I was living in an apartment she was crated when i went to work. She would *** and **** in the crate and I thought it was because she was stressed being in the crate. When I moved I stopped using the crate and let her have free run of the house. She did amazingly better out of the crate. She wasn’t making any messes in the house at all. Recently I had to go shopping and was gone for about 10 minutes when I realized I forgot something. I quickly went home got what i needed and left again. I came home later that day to find she had pooped literally all over the house! Ever since that episode after work i come home EVERYDAY to **** all over my house!! I don’t know what to do about it anymore the wee wee pads won’t work, she just goes around them. Now when i let her out in the mornings she won’t **** she will *** and be right back at the door wanting to come in.

Should we get our Jack Russell a friend?

Christine asked:

We have a Jack Russell Terrier who just turned three. We have one son who just turned two and a 2nd who is 7 months. We think he is jealous of our sons. Our jack seems lonely and although we still pay attention to him, he seems to feel rejected. This leads to an occasional accident in the house (once a month or so), which makes me CRAZY. We have tried re-training (positive only… Jack’s don’t do well with negative) We have tried being nicer, paying more attention, teaching our oldest to throw the ball for him etc. Being a Jack Russell, they are known not to like other animals; however our dog is VERY well socialized. He doesn’t like cats, but does do very well with other dogs. So does anyone have any experience with this? Would getting another dog possibly help his jealously issues? We are not willing to give up on him, but we do want him to be happy… and not potty in the house!! Any advice is welcome. Thank you!
Hmmm… I’ve heard that Jack’s CAN be breed specific, however… our dog plays with my mothers golden retriever all the time. They are friends. They don’t live together, but… The do love eachother! :) This is so hard, I just don’t know what to do!

If not suprervised out in the yard, she is all about distruction to grass, sprinklers, plants, palms you name it.

I believe she is fresh out of luck for any other new owners except for me.

She requires 24/7 patience, playing, walking and survailance.
