Essential Fatty Acids Are Important To Your Dog’s Health
My five-year old Maltese, Heidi got me concerned with her skin seemed dry and flaky and her coat not seemed as the usual full and silky. Initially, I was not that troubled much for I thought it was just because of the dryness in the house during the winter months. But it never cleared up. In fact, it got worse. Dog Pain Relief
Heidi usually sleeps next to me at night but the irritation made her reach the point to scratching excessively until it woke me up. Oh, how difficult it is to get a full-night’s sleep when your baby is in pain!
At Heidi’s appointment, I mentioned her irritation to our veterinarian, Dr. Ava Frick and she asked me if I might possibly be bathing Heidi too often or using the wrong shampoo. I use a very mild shampoo and do not bathe Heidi too often although both reasons are common for a dog to experience skin irritation.
As I am diligent about preventing fleas from ever becoming a problem, it is out of the question. She only goes outside to play for a bit each day and to relieve herself, and I am careful to have the yard treated in order to prevent fleas.
Ruling out those possibilities, Dr. Frick and I then discussed on how essential fatty acids are important to a dog’s healthy coat. I was worried about the possibility of Heidi having some sort of deficiency in her diet, although I thought I was making the best choices when purchasing her food and treats. Animal Pain Relief
I discovered about healthy fats that are essential in maintaining a dog’s coat in good shape Low-quality commercial dog food do not provide the proper nutrients to support healthy skin and coat. Improperly balanced homemade dog foods often lack proper nutrition.
Omega-3 also provides benefits to dog’s skin for its anti-inflammatory effects. They are good aids for dogs suffering from allergies or other inflammatory skin diseases. They can also reduce itching, which is great since many dogs irritate their skin even further by scratching.
Dr. Frick advised some modifications on Heidi’s diet, including the addition of supplements. She told me to expect for some improvements on Heidi’s skin and coat within six weeks of starting Omega-3 implementation and she was right.
Now, my dog’s skin and coat are more splendid than ever. And, best of all, Heidi doesn’t have to deal with the irritation that led her to scratch so often that it seemed like it was driving her crazy. Pet Pain Relief
Good Nutrition Aids in Alleviating Diabetic Cat from Everyday Insulin Injections
Poor Brutus! I always frieve whenever I recall our then six-year-old cat’s life. Dr. Frick told us that weighing 20 pounds was 8 to 9 pounds over the normal. Animal Joint Pain
Two years ago, our previous vet diagnosed Brutus of having diabetes and started treating him with 6 units of insulin two times a day. Our former vet had us feeding Brutus a special dry food for diabetic cats.
Then my friend told me me that her sister-in-law took her dog to a credible veterinarian and was impressed with the outcome. Discovering Dr. Ava Frick’s clinic was a blessing to us.
Brutus seemed to have flaky dandruff coming off and his fur was dull when we took him to Dr. Frick forthe first time. He drank an excessive amount of water each day, and urinated 10-12 times daily. He appeared to be hungry most of the time and beg for food like a dog. He was also very cranky and never wanted to be around the family any longer
We checked Brutus into Dr. Frick’s clinic for about a week while she rank tests and, as she explained to us, the were some serious concerns with his blood sugar levels. They were like a rollercoaster. Animal Pain Relief
Dr. Frick tried an experiment on Brutus by taking him off the insulin for a short while and reintroduced it. She modified his diet to a canned, low-carb food, and started on a routine of 2 units of insulin every 12 hours.
It only took two days for his blood sugar levels to return to normal. In addition, his excessive thirst and urination ceased.
Brutus has changed so much a year later. He has lost almost five pounds, the normal luster of his coat has returned, and he only goes to his litter box three or four times daily. Craving for food became a thing in the past and his grouchiness returned to his old and loving personality. Animal Chiropractic

Lethargic Golden Retriever Returns to His Active Self
My Golden Retriever would not have been alive today if not for Dr. Ava Frick. Her unique knowledge on nutritional needs saved Zoltan. Animal Chiropractic
There are no present clues found on him showing that I almost lost him. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Frick. Zoltan and I thank her from the bottom of our hearts.
Zoltan used to be a perfect and healthy little guy. We had settled into a nice routine together as two bachelors, and he was very active. Then my dog started to lose his appetite on both eating and drinking when he was about seven months old. He had always been fairly vocal, but now he barely barked. He seemed to have lost his boundless puppy energy and left his eyes and nose dry. He was so tiresome that he wanted to sleep most of the time.
At first, I thought he must feel a little under the weather and he would be back to his old self within a day or two. I truly felt helpless as I watched him go downhill.
What confused me was the fact that he continued to grow, yet he lost weight at the same time. In about two weeks, he had lost two and a half pounds.
I researched online and found a bland recipe of homemade chicken and rice. At first, he quite liked etaing it then afterwards, lost interest on it. Animal Joint Pain
While researching online, I came across Dr. Frick’s practice and learned the great things she has done with canine chiropractic and other pet issues and thought that I might be mistaking. Her work in the animal pain management area really impressed me and led me to decide that she is the right person to help Zoltan even if I do not have any idea if Zoltan is really hurting.
Dr. Frick educated me on the importance of nutrition. She recommended a brand she believes is the best whole food nutrition available. That was the first time I have heard of Standard Process Veterinary Formula products. We started Zoltan on Canine Whole Body Support, Organically Bound Minerals, Myo-Plus, Neurotrophin PMG, and Neuroplex, right away.
Gradually, Zoltan has returned to having energy and sparkling eyes one again. Zoltan gained 30 pounds in just six months. Throughout the treatment, I was able to feed him with regular dog food, saved a lot of money, and let my meticulous eater to eat foods he used to like.
As Zoltan continued to recuperate, Dr.Frick determined it would be best to wean Zoltan from the majority of the supplements, but recommended I keep giving him Canine Whole Body Support and Organically Bound Minerals each day. Animal Pain Relief
Relieve Animal Joint Pain Using Natural Methods
Maya is my only child that’s why we give whatever she wants as long as it will help her learn new things and develop her character in the long run. Even at her young age of 8, she already displayed an interest in horses and she’d love to have her own pet horse. Since the price of a pony is beyond our budget, we had to wait for several years before buying her a horse. Besides, we want to be certain that she really wants the horse and it’s not just a passing fancy. She was so happy and elated when we finally gave her Black Beauty. Eventually, she learned how to ride a horse and was more eager to teach her new pet some tricks such as jumping and galloping. Animal Chiropractic
Black Beauty is not really a young horse. We were only able to afford the horse because the owner was facing foreclosure of his farm so he wanted to convert his prized animals into cash and save his farm and home. That’s why we weren’t aware that Black Beauty was already 15 years old by the time we bought her. In just a little over a year, the poor equine started to exhibit signs of aging and was starting to disobey Maya whenever she asks the beast to jump or do some exercises. Pet Pain Relief
The poor performance of the horse eventually affected our Maya’s self-esteem. She was depressed and appeared less excited because all the while she thought that it was her leadership skills or the lack thereof that caused Black Beauty’s behavior. Maya didn’t think nor imagine that the cause of the problem was the horse’s arthritis, this started the extreme animal joint pains. I wanted to do something about the situation so I searched the Internet for answers and looked for clinics that specialize in animal joint pains. It was really a blessing that I stumbled upon the website of Animal Fitness Center, an animal chiropractic clinic.
We brought Black Beauty to animal Fitness Center so that Dr Ava Frick can immediately diagnose the problems. She immediately told us about animal joint pains and explained to us that chiropractic sessions, as well as Alpha-Stim 100 (a medical device that emits microcurrents to relieve pain and tension), will help ease the arthritic pain suffered by Maya’s pet. Dr Frick also came up with a customized pain management therapy which focuses on Black Beauty’s nutrition to make her feel better. In just a few weeks, we can really see marked improvement and recovery. Maya also realized that it was the animal joint pains that was to blame for her pet’s sufferings. She is also happy that Black Beauty seems to be more energetic and happier now. Animal Joint Pain
